LADY WIMBLEDON’S BACKGROUND STORY

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon as I sat and watched a Wimbledon Tennis match on the No 1 Court. I breathed in, and smiled. After having three children in a little over three years, I’d forgotten who I was and realised that Top Shop chick was gone. Watching my friends laughing, all holding what seemed to be bottomless glasses of Pimm’s, I realised we had morphed into ladies: Wimbledon ladies. Ladies who cared about what they wore, where to go and absolutely everything else that wasn’t about being a mum, but about being who we were. When I hit 10k followers on Twitter, (now X) it was clear that I wasn’t the only one. So I launched LadyWimbledon.com in 2014 – a team of journalists and experts in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, news, and everything that cuts through the noise and tells us what we want to know. I hope you join our guestlist as we love nothing more than inviting our guests to VIP launches, parties and restaurants.

It’s been an amazing 10 years evolving the brand and building an incredible Instagram and Facebook following; @ladywimbledon’s Instagram has over 100k followers and the blog @eyesofladywimbledon has peaked 40k followers. This almighty following has allowed me to build a fierce network in Wimbledon and beyond.

I am very proud to be a single, independent woman, and have adored raising my 3 kids alone for the last 10 years. The best decision I made for my family was choosing to live in both Cyprus and Wimbledon. We love London summers and the Mediterranean winter.

I now focus on Lady Wimbledon’s vast network who belong to LadyW:TheClub as I love nothing more than championing local businesses. My digital media company Bombshell PR (Bombshell PR is the trading name of Bombshell Consultancy Ltd) manages Social Media for startups, SME’s and global brands. We drive traffic to products and services, raise awareness and organic SEO.

BIGGEST INFLUENCES?

There is one man who’s had a profound, important and lasting impact on me. My father. He was such a charismatic individual. He always had time for people. He always had a story to share, and it always ended in tears of laughter from all around. If there was an occasion – be it a birthday, Christmas or Easter – it would be made momentous.

Life was made for celebrating the good times and I know how proud he would be that his ethos is played out in Bombshell events. If you have a product or service that is worth shouting about, believe me, I will climb to the rooftops and dance with you so everyone can hear.
